Carvel- Best Commercials Ever

Well, maybe not ever, but these are amazing. There's a Carvel about 20 minutes from my house. It's walls are covered with quotes from Tom Carvel himself. One of them reads:

"Franchisees say I'm crazy, and that my commercials stink."

Amen

Let's see what warranted that quote.

I love how Carvel says "Please visit them" at the end of the commercial. It sounds almost like a plea...

There was a holiday version of Cookie Puss specific to Saint Patrick's Day, called Cookie O'Puss. It was similar to the original but with green icing accents and a leprechaun-style hat. This product was pulled from shelves in March, 1997 after the Irish American Anti Defamation League issued a statement stating that Cookie O'Puss "furthered an image of hard drinking and reckless behavior by Irish Americans".

Somebody synched some Carvel audio to this video, and it really freaks me out. It falls apart about 35 seconds in, but 1:00 is rock bottom. This is some sorts of fucked up...
